The anabatic winds drift upward through the steeper slopes of the Sonoma Valley, tempering the summer heat and keeping cool Anaba’s Carneros Estate Vineyard.  It was a fraternity outing in Napa when then-Stanford University student John Sweazey’s journey to the world of wine began.  John later traveled Europe where he fell in love with the people and the wines of Burgundy and the Rhône Valley.  His fate was sealed.  John returned to the Bay Area and started a real estate finance company until, years later, he could no longer resist the idea of growing grapes in Sonoma.  Under the direction of Winemaker Jennifer Marion, a devotee of vineyards since working with Napa-based Crop Care Associated agricultural consulting firm prior to her role as assistant winemaker for MacRostie Winery, John and Jennifer now produce wine from the best Rhône and Burgundian grape varieties grown in Anaba's Carneros vineyard and in select vineyard properties throughout Sonoma County.  ANABA – elegant, classic wines bourne by the wind.  www.anabawines.com

Cosimo Pizzulli – Owner & Winemaker
